New Technology Providing Safer Treatment for Cardiac Arrhythmia
St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Home of Texas Heart Institute, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Stereotaxis Gentle Touch™ Magnetic Navigation System, a magnet-guided technology to enhance the precision and safety of procedures to treat certain heart rhythm problems, or cardiac arrhythmias. Cardiac arrhythmia refers to any disturbance in the regular rhythm of the heartbeat. Learn more.

St. Luke's Heart Transplant Patient Hopeful Featured on "The Doctors"
The nationally-syndicated television show, "The Doctors," recently featured a St. Luke's patient currently on the heart transplant waiting list. The episode focused on the need for heart organ donation, and shared the story of St. Luke's patient Wanda Alexander and her family.
